We just starting looking for a hot tub and like the size of the J315.  We have been talking to our dealer for a week now and he told us we could wet test the j315.  Today we were going over to do it and he said but you have to test in the j365.  I said why would I want to do that I am not buying the J365 he said but the jets are all the same.  I was very disapointed and feel like I need to start all over.  Now I don't know what to do.  We want a unit the size of the j315 any suggestions would help.

Suzy :)

Gfi box and cover lifter sounds like a fair price with the steps and chems,Hope theres free delivery.Wet test before you buy.I guess some of the jets are the same and you can sit in the spa to see that if its big enough. But the J-365 has 2 pumps and yours will have 1 but then again 1 should be fine for that spa..goodluck.JohnnyT

Just to clarify, the 315 does have just one pump w/2 speeds but its a 1.5hp continuous, 2.0hp brake compared to the 365 which is 2.5hp cont. and 4.2hp brake, not a very fair comparison.  Not to discount the pump in the 315, cuz its probably just right for that tub size.  Just saying, you cant sit in a 365 and think it will feel the same.

Any dealer should be able to fill up a tub on his floor for you to wet test.  If they wont do this, then I'd be leary of doing business with them.

Calico happens to be right, ask him you want to wet test that spa that you are thinking of buying and if not just tell him  that you will go somewhere that will be more then happy to let you test their spas while you are showing him your credit card ....Many good dealers out there and I know its hard finding a spa with a 5 year parts and labor.JohnnyT ;)

I have been reading about the Sundance Capri.  It is a different dealer from the Jacuzzi dealer.  Anyone have any comparison on the two.  We want a small unit there is just two of us and we are putting the unit on a closed in porch.  So we don't want more spa than we need.

The Capri is a very nice, smaller tub.  Sundance has two lines: 850 Series and Portofino.  The Capri is in the higher end group, 850 Series.  Its got really good features, have you been to a Sundance showroom?  I think you will really like it.

Just got back from a wet test The sundance dealer we went to also sell Marquis.  I loved the Mirage.  We also went to another dealer that sells Hot Springs.  Didn't like the feel of any of the Hot Springs Just couldn't get confy and it was more expensive than the Jacuzzi we looked at and the Mirage.  The Mirage is more expensive than the jacuzzi but it is also larger and had some nice features.  Anyone with Maquis expertise. More confused than I was before.  HELP!!!!
