I believe I got some damage while moving me hot tub.

Leak is between the plastic and the stainless pipe of my heater. Is this fixable or do I need to buy a new heater?

You have to find the leak. If its on the heater fitting yes, you need a new heater. If it's the hose you need to cut out, couple and add hose.

I pulled it apart and here is what I found. I pulled the end off the is leaking and there is a plastic ring has 2 little clips that snap into the part that holds the limit switch

This plastic ring is split

Do you know if I could even find a replacement clip since the heater is discontinued or could I possible use some type of sealant?

I was thinking about trying a 2 part plastic weld. Thoughts???

I find it hard to believe that a HS dealer didn't reply here to tell us that part, or the whole heaters aren't available.

Lets keep bumping it to the top. I don't work on many HS don't have a solid source anymore. Could be you will have to retrofit a different heater but go ahead and try the epoxy, see if it holds.

Watkins No-Fault pretty common?

Honestly, I thought all Hotsprings were able to be repaired no matter how old.

As far as a 2 part epoxy, Home Depot sells an epoxy putty that you break off a piece, mix it well and let it harden. As long as you mix it well and let it harden you may be pretty good. I probably would use it all around the fitting to reinforce it as well. If there are threads you might want to use pipe dope vs teflon tape not to put too much pressur on the plastic fitting, I don't know if you can use pipe dope on plastic though. If I get a,chanx l ce I'll post a,ling to the putty.

It worked great for my situation on fixing a leak. Different situation but it may work well for your problem.
