Wondering if having sex in my hot tub is safe and if it will mess up the water?

It's ok.  Film it and post it.  Kinda disgusting if anybody else uses it afterward.

It's not going to mess up the water unless you're having a hot tub orgy.. in that case, make sure chlorine levels are good before and shock it good after.

If she is sensitive at all... shes not going to like getting spa water all up in there.

And it's fun a few times, but once the novelty is over, it's not very good sex. You'll get more sensation in the back seat of a minivan in January.  Temperature difference plays a big part.  But hey, if the mood strikes and everyone is having a good time....

Reminds me of an old light bulb joke:

"How many Southern Californians does it take to screw in a light bulb?"

(Yes, I know "Jacuzzi" is the brand name, but when I was a kid in Southern Cal hearing this for the first time, all spas were "jacuzzis".)

I would defer to the spa experts in our midst, but I really doubt there's any danger to the water. I think spa etiquette would be that you don't tell your platonic spa guests that you boinked in the spa last night (in that very seat!), but the chemicals and skimmers should handle whatever "mess" might be left over. As for the boinkers, you might want to have a non-water-based lube available (like a silicone lube), since the water has a tendency to wash away anything else. Maybe a woman with relevant experience can chime in here, but I'm also guessing she might want to have a rinsing shower after, to rinse away chlorine or other chemicals that might have been introduced to sensitive areas.
