Finally Decided...Caldera Geneva Utopia

Hey Everybody,

Did the wet test on the Optima and the Caldera Geneva Utopia today.

Ended up signing the papers on the Geneva, even though we were there looking for the Niagra!  The wife ended up liking the lounger and I wasn't going to argue  ;)

Overall it offered both of us more comfort than the Optima.  Seems we just couldn't get ourselves "right" in the Optima.  I thought for sure we'd end up in the Optima, but as everyone says, the wet test will tell you what you need to know.  For us, there was no comparison.  Between comfort, power, and FEEL, the Geneva just clicked with us.  Forget the bells and whistles (even though the Geneva has more) and let the water tell you!

Agreed to $8450 for cover, lifter, delivery, set-up, wood steps, chemicals, gfci panel (included).

We're in the St. Louis area.  This seems just a small bit higher than what some have paid  ???, but it was harder finding mid-west price comparisons, so I just went for it as I didn't feel the dealer was going to move more.  I didn't want to risk any part of dealer relationship down the line.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for their wisdom and information.  The long search has FINALLY come to an exciting and happy end!!!   :)

There was nothing like getting in the tub and just knowing it was for me!

Congratulations!  We picked the same spa and have no regrets.  FWIW, we paid almost exactly the same amount for ours as you did.  We are in West Palm Beach, FL and bought ours less than 2 months ago.

Regards,

Bill
