Chem geek....it was more than....hate to be able to say it....20 years ago.....so have no idea...
The green is clearing up in the tub....he added a metal remover? Anyway, it seems to be working.....will keep you updated.

We are in the middle of our busy season.....so hadn't been on in awhile......all good!!!!

Shock the hell out of it. Just wait a couple days to use. I will then dip the filters in a bucket full of bleach for a couple hours. If you still have green water then idk what it could be. Best think about hot tubs over pools is worst case you can do a 100% water change if you want

So now the alkilinity went up over 200 for no apparent reason.....unless of course someone has been peeing in the tub......just kidding....none of that!!!!! Lol. Has been on its way back down again.....got some muratic acid just in case it happens again but will hold off for now.....one of these days we are going to be able to keep things even.....
