I understand watching the news. that some of you in NYC and MA are having a really cold spot.
How are the tubs holding out. ?
Are they managing to maintain heat in these sub arctic temperatures

My tub is holding up fine.  Though I haven't gone in it in about 2 weeks.  Added some shock this morning and the temp was at 102.  The air temp was 3 so probably won't be in for a few days or so.  Warm front coming in this weekend though gonna get into the 40's

Mine seems to be holding up fine with a weak pump. Monday night we experienced -40 wind chills in NW Ohio. I refuse to look at my electric bill though. I'll let autopay take care of that one!

I try to manage my electricity usage.
We have solar panels on the roof of our house, in full sun generating about 4kw.
In the dull dark winter though next to nothing.

Undeterred, i turn the temp down to about 25°C when we are not using it, then a day before we want it, i turn i back up again, allowing the free electricity from the Solar PV's to partly fund the reheat.

Not sure if it works, but makes me feel better.

I'm expecting that the UK will get a taste of what you guys in the northern states have been seeing.
This is when it will hurt the most.

My tub is all good here in MA.  Just left it for 2 weeks on vacation and it was still in great shape when I returned.
