Whats the ideal degree average for a hot tub in the winter months?

Set mine at 103 degrees. It works well due to the temp dropping to 100 degrees after a 20 min. soak. 8)

The body is 98.6°, comfort zone is 102°, really cold weather, 104°

I like 102 if your going to stay in for any length. Even when it's below freezing.

These are all good answers. I will add whats 102 in one tub might be 101 or 103 in another tub.  Also, wind plays a little bit of a factor.  102 is good if I want to stay in for 20 to 30 minutes.   If my arthritis is acting up or I have some sore back musles 104-105 with jets going feels great.

You will get to a point when your body will tell you the temperature of the water without even looking.  Your getting into hot water, but you are going to enjoy it.

Your absolutely right, I can tell the temp to within .5 degrees without looking under most circumstances.

I can tell when mines within 4 - 5 degrees.  ;D
