J480 Question
« on: November 07, 2013, 10:09:07 am »
I was in the tub last night, and while checking that all the jets were open in the footwell i noticed that 1 of the 4 suction covers had no "suction" the other 3 were working fine, you could feel a real strong pull, but the one shown highlighted was doing nothing, is this normal?

New to this hot tub stuff, and was just wondering.... other than that we love the J-480.

It is probably the by-pass from the circ pump.   If the filter is severely clogged, or something is stopping flow it would by-pass to that suction.

I just checked my 2013 J480 and that spot didn't suck in water either.  If the jets are all working and no errors on the J1000, just enjoy the tub.
