HotTub Newbies Here: New Sunbelt vs Used HS Jetsetter

Here is the situation:  Budget is $3,500

Local HS Dealer has a used 2009 Jetsetter (bit small for spouse) for $3350 w 90 day warranty only.  Down the street, the Sunbelt manufacturer is selling a New tub (that fits both of us perfectly) for $3899 w a 3 year warranty w waterfalls, LED lighting, ozone, etc.

Our main concern is we do not want "high" maintenance costs that everyone says to be careful/wary of when buying a hot tub.  Thus, we have some concern over the "used" Hotspring model.

I cannot find any current reviews on Sunbelt hot tubs.  Do any of you have any current information or own a Sunbelt to share any useful insight for us?

If a tub doesn't fit it really doesn't matter if it's a good deal or not.  If they both fit you or was a fit that your other half could live with I would buy the Hot Springs. The Jetsetter is a great tub.  Which Sunbelt tub were you looking at?   Go to the Hot Springs website and read the reviews from customers that own the Jetsetter and you will see it is one of the best tubs that Hot Springs makes.

Does the price on either tub include the delivery and set up?  In my opinion (and that's all it is) the Hot Springs will be cheaper to run in the long term.

Delivery included in price of the Jetsetter...thinking about changing to a Bolt though.  Delivery is an additional $300 on the Sunbelt.

We got a new Hot Spring Bolt from the limelight collection!  No worries or concerns...enjoyed the wet test.

Sure did...just didn't feel like we had a choice. Peace of mind was very important; we are quite frugal but just couldn't let that get in the way.  :)

Peace of mind is so important.  You could spend less and save some money but not be very happy. Or spend a little more and be completely happy. The extra cost will disappear quickly.

Now enjoy your new tub ;D
