Author Topic: Odd looking Sundance Hot Tub from 93 help identify (Read 3460 times)

I bought this tub used a few months ago. All controls were removed so i have no Sundance numbers to ID it. It is very unusual. It's built into a structure made to look like a tree trunk with a water fall feature. I was told by the seller that only five of these were made by Sundance. Cast into the side is a lable that says Creative Rock 1993.

I'd love to learn more about this if anyone can help me ID it.

It's not a Sundance. Even their shells/built in's don't resemble that one. Seem's to me I remember seeing those in Vegas a quite a few years ago at a show. Prolly just some generic spa with most likely Balboa controls? If by some slim chance it is a Sundance I would be amazed!

Ill have a look at it tomorrow after it gets light but I think the controls say sundance....

Those look like Jacuzzi jets in the second pic down? Pretty strange I wonder if it was some kind of proto type thing? Interesting.

Well what ever it is it seems to be working well.

No leaks and its warming up. Any idea where I can get a filter cover, weir? Are they pretty generic or will I need to replace the filter housing?
