I recently acquired a 2002 Cal Spa Belair 34 jet hot tub. The main pump and heat seem to be working fine - most of the jets are shooting out a healthy stream of water - but I can't seem to get a bank of jets working in one of the seats. There is a 1 hp pump located near this seat and I am wondering if one bank of jets would be run by a separate independent pump. The tub is also equipped with an "adjustable therapy system" - would the extra pump help run this accessory? After fiddling with the air valve on the affected seat, a pump seemed to kick on for a second and a mass of milky white deposits came shooting out of the jets for a few seconds and then the pump shut down and did not restart Does this sound like a bad pump or a clogged pump/plumbing issue.
