It's NOW
« on: June 07, 2008, 10:50:19 am »
I'm BACK....

After years of procrastinating... we are in the middle of a complete backyard remodel.  We need to decide this weekend which spa to buy.  The contractor will lay the slab on Tuesday and needs to know where to stub the electric.

1)  We have in the past looked at HS Envoy ($9200)  and Sundance Optima or Cameo ($9000)

Are these decent prices or should I try to negotiate.  Any other suggestions?  Is there a Marquis or Jucuzzi that is similar to the above?

2)  If we don't decide and he lays the concrete without a stub up is it a problem with installation later?

3)  Any of you go CHEAP and buy the Costco $5000 tub with everything?

4)  How can I upload pictures of the backyard remodel?  (The workers must think I am nuts to take a zillion pictures while they are working..  I love digital cameras!

Thanks for any help

ps  TERM how you doing?

Heck, even if I felt these prices were very good I'd still try to negotiate.

Get the electric stubbed in first, unless you dont mind 'stubbing' your toes on conduit running across your patio :'(

 DONT buy a Costco POS!!

And yes their are Marquis and Jacuzzi, and Arctic spa's similar and more in price.  Their are also a lot of spas at lower prices from major players as well if you are looking at a $5000 Costco spa.
