I have a question regarding a leak...

I have a leak coming from one of my jet housings on my 05 Arctic Spa Cub. The housing only leaks when the pumps are on high. Will I need to drain the spa below the housing for the service? Is there anything that I can do to fix this or should I call the service guy. The tub is still under warranty.

Since spa is under warranty call for service.  Ask them these questions.  Why even ask us?  That is what the warranty and dealer are for.

I didn't ask for your opinion. Just a simple question.

Service takes a week, and I don't want to take 3 hours off work for a user serviceable part like an O-ring I can replace that.
My main question is; do I need to drain the tub? I don't want the service guy standing around for 2 hours while the tub drains.

You certainly could drain the spa prior to the tech coming out but they also may want to locate any other possible leaks before draining. Again, ask them what they would like...

  Personally I tell people to leave water in the spa, if its just a loose backing nut, he can just tighten it with out draining.  If the jet assembly needs to be replaced, then yes it need to be drained below that jet, but the tech (least ours does) drain it fix it refill it.

Yes leave the spa with water in it. Also just call your dealer and let them do the work that it what the warranty is for. Also you shouldn't have to be home for them to work on the spa unless it is indoors.

You paid the big bucks for a spa from a dealer who offers service.  Use that dealer.

Tubbin, it's always a pleasure to hear from one of our customers.  The advice in this thread is sound.   Please call your dealer and discuss the issue with the service manager.
