Newbie #3- The Decision!

First, let me thank all of you for your comments and suggestions. One thing I've learned is how to drive a bargain. We were able to get the Caldera Oasis I for $3,000 (to include delivery, set up, cover, stairs, chemicals...).

Here's my baby:

I didn't even think about that spa when you were mentioning what you were looking for.  I think you made a better choice than going with the RX.  Even though the Oasis is a very plain Jane spa, it is very comfortable.  It is made by the same folks as Hot Spring and made in the same factory as the RX.  Very good quality spa for a good price.

Nicely done.

AKA the Hot Spt Tobago.  Discontinued for '08, but parts will be available.  Very simple reliable hot tub.

When a hot tub model gets discontinued all that is really discontinued is the shell. All the jets, controls, filters, etc are used on other models so its certainly a non issue for the consumer.

Welcome to spatopia.

*The management does not endorse nor encourage soaking until one's brains actually come out. This is simply a term used to imply that the new spa owner is encouraged to use and enjoy their product in a safe and intelligent manner, in compliance with all federal, state and local laws which may or may not be applicable at the time said new spa owner begins their use of their new spa. Some restrictions apply. Void where prohibited, limited, taxed or restricted. Your mileage may vary. Batteries not included. Don't drink and dive.
