Caldera isn't kidding
« on: October 13, 2006, 03:52:08 pm »
I saw a new banner at the top of our forum. This one says to enter to win a Caldera spa, for their 30th anniversary I think.  The online form is easy to fill out till you get to this part.

[glow]To enter the Contest, describe in writing, a minimum of 30 reasons why you'd like to own a Caldera spa. [/glow]

I guess they weren't kidding. Took me quite a while.  Finally after 29 reasons, all I could come up with for #30 is  - Because nothing rhymes with Caldera.

If I win, I'll give it to my sister, then there will be a spa when we visit.

Pitty you didn't copy and paste all 30 of your answers here.................. ok, so I'm lazy and want to enter the contest too.. but I would'a gived ya a cut if I won
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Retired (mostly) from the industry after 33 years...but still putzing around with a consumer information website, and trying to sell obsolete owners manuals

Since we already have one:

'Nothing rhymes with Caldera', we may as well go for 30.

#2.  If you fill it with water you can float an armada of rubber ducks in it.

#3. Becuase I live in Southern Cal and Chas would most likely deliver it to me. What could be better than that?

Hopefully they aren't judging the merit of the 30 reasons.  One of my reasons was as mentioned in my message, I'll give it to my sister so we don't have to go without a spa on our visits.

Based on that one of my reasons was, Because everyone needs lessons in ph management.
I think another one was , She lives on a golf course and it would be fun to heckle golfers from a nice warm tub.
