everwood panel question
« on: July 04, 2006, 06:39:01 pm »
Long time reader and first time questioner. Just opened my Vista and a bracket on the cover cradle II pulled loose and cracked a piece of the everwood cabinet off. Are the panels easily replaced? My spa is only 1 1/2 years old. Is this something that would be covered by the warranty? Has anyone had this happen to them? Bad day in Gainesville, Florida. Thanks for your response.

Should be covered by the warranty.  Contact your dealer.

HottubDan,

Thanks for the reply. I just came back from my dealer who called his repair person while I was in the store. He could not verify whether it would be covered by the warranty or not. He said he would have to contact Watkins to see about it. He said it is easily replaced by removing 3 screws on the black wood near the bottom. He wasn't sure if the panel is one piece or three but that I could do the repair myself if it is not covered. This forum sure helps us uneducated nubies! Thanks again.
