I need a little advice. I have a D-1 AFS unit aka a "swim spa". The unit hold approx. 1700 gallons and keep the temp at 95 degrees, but I plan on lowering it to 80 degress for the summer. I've had the unit for 6 months and i'm still not sure how I should treat the water. My dealer is not very helpful. My problem is that all of the advise I've seen is for hot tubs that are at 100-1004 degrees. How should I treat mine? As a hot tub or a pool? Thanks

We've got several clients with them and prefer bromine tabs in a floater. It's convenient, add some ph + weekly, and they do use an UV ozone.
Seems to work well.

I've always been curious about these swim spas.

Does the entire tub the temperature, or does it have two thermostats (swim side & spa side)?

Which side do you use most often?

Our unit is the 16 foot version and the heat is only one zone. D-1 has a unit that is dual temp.

My dealer was against using bromine, says it's to corrosive.
