Controlling Humidity

Hi everyone.  I haven’t been on site for a while.  I had artho surgery on my knee to scrape away the arthritis and sew up some ligaments.  Getting better but looking forward to our new tub.

The remodel project has finally started and they are working on my enclosed deck.  We are replacing our 12 x 12 open deck with a 12 x 18 enclosed porch for our Jacuzzi 385.

My concern is humidity in the enclosed space.  It will have 2 windows ( 4 x 8 ) and a 6 ft sliding door, but I want to install a fan on a humidity switch to be sure to keep the mold and mildew away.

Here is a link the fan I am planning on using.  It is the 150B model moving 396 cfm and 62 decibels.  It will have an automatic humidity switch to turn it on automatically and I will be able to override it if needed.  Total cost about $300.

Has anyone had any experience with humidity in an enclosed space?  Am I worrying about this too much?
