Cameo/Optima lovers respond...please

They did not have the grandee filled with water at my local dealer! ! ! ! ! !

Maybe another dealer would have it filled. . .

Why do you prefer the Optima over the Cameo?

I am a big guy, over 240# and I like the extra room in an Optima.  The lounger in the Cameo takes up space and my whole family floats out of most loungers.  I got to thinking you might want to wet test the Bahia, it is more comparable to the Caspian and costs less?  Still would go Grandee or Optima myself!  Good luck!

Gotta chime in that I love my grandee, and it is an "older" model with the less powerful pumps and withouth the "dual" moto-massage, both of which look pretty cool.

For us it came down to the optima or the grandee in 2003.  We chose the grandee for the open seating, and we liked the massage better on the grandee/moto-massages.

We got our cameo in May and have been in it almost every night since then except for the 2 weeks we were away on vacation.  We paid $9200 for our 2005 model with waterfall, stereo, ozantor, steps, lifter cover and start up chemicals.  I was told by other posters at the time that we got a really good deal.
