Some Deck and Tub Pictures

After seeing other people's projects here, I decided to get a move on and download pictures too.
If you want to see you can go to:

and take a look. It's not completely done and I will try to take pictures of the finished project.

Looks great.

THANKS!
Payton,
I went partially sunken to avoid steps. It actually is working out great. The tub is high enough to sit on it's rim and get in.
Bosco,
I went with a deck because of the height of my back door. We wanted the "outdoor living space" all on the same level. I also like patios and think yours came out really nice, I like the color and the exposed aggregate!
Chas,
I wish I could take the credit. My friend is helping me and he works like a road runner and I work like snail. But I can make you a deal - open up a store here in Jersey and we'll come out and build you a deck! (maybe)

great job. i will have to reconsider dropping tub in deck. i built a new deck last summer(700 sq. ft.) with a 12 x 12 area for tub. we set on deck for 2 main reasons:1. safety issues with a 3 year old 2. access to panels for service. but it looks great.

Does look good... I did something similar with our last spa (sunken into a deck, spa on a platform about 4 feet in the air!), but access for service was a pain.
This time, I'm looking at spa on concrete on ground, with perhaps several steps connecting up to deck that's about 8' in air (usual for walkout basement type of arrangement...). So, you can use it from ground level basement or from deck.
Good look arrangement there, though, Vinny!

Vinny, that is exactly what we did with our spa. We have it sunken-in just enough so we do not need steps at all. We LOVE the look. As far as gaining access to the panels for servicing, we had a drop-in floor put in that is a rectangular cut out in the deck. I will post a picture in a few of it.

Thanks Again!
It is a big project with respect to all that had to and still has to be done. Under the blue tarp is the roof panels to the screen room that's going on half the deck.
Thankfully my friend LOVES doing this work, I on the other hand, do it out of necessity. I believe it's a bigger job than he anticipated but he won't tell me!
Payton,
I originally was going to put a trap door into the deck but due to my goofing on measurements the tub's floor is only about 8" below the deck. I repair medical equipment and my friend repairs X-Ray equipment and we both agreed that any technician worth his weight should be able to repair this without any trouble!
We took all the bottom screws out of the cabinet to be able to remove any of the panels. The only access problem is that there is a motor under the filter and there is only about 18" between the railing and the tub - it was a surprise when the tub was delivered, all the motors were supposed to be under the control panel as per the dealer.
