Hot Tub for Lake Tahoe Cabin - Help!

I am overwhelmed.  I just bought a cabin in Tahoe (partial vacation rental) and want  to purchase a good and quality spa or hot tub that will be energy efficient and winterized.  6-8 person tub is just fine.

What do I need to look for in a spa that will be used often with cold winters?

I want to spend no more than $3,500.

Please help!!  I'm so new to this and don't want to make the wrond decision.

You're gonna be limited to what you can purchase for 3500.00   I suggest looking at 1's in the price range of 6-8000.00     I'll only say,you get what you pay for.

I have a great used spa that is only about 3 years old that I could sell you for around that and even deliver it if we could work out a cabin use there a couple times a year to come out and take care of it!  

(BTW, it's a Marquis Euphoria)

If you're paying the utility bill you might want to make sure you get a well insulated spa. There are a lot of "bargain" spas out there that cost less to purchase but can suck money out of your pocket when you have to pay to heat them.
sometimes you can find decent bargains on good used spas. Otherwise, if you truly only have $3500 to spend I might suggest you put it away in the bank and add $200 a month for a year and then look for one next year.

That's simply a secondary spa line (not quite even with their premium line) from Arctic much like Hot Spring has Tiger River, Sundance has their 700 series (used to be Sweetwater), Marquis has Everday Spas and Phoenix has H@ven Spas.

As others have noted, it is going to be very difficult to find a new spa of high quality in that price range, not to mention a large one that will seat 6-8. For what you are looking for, I would recomend a budget of at least 6k unless you buy used. Spending less then this may be fine at first but you will almost certainly pay for it in the long run.

I do not think you will find a true 6 to 8 person for even twice your budget .....there is a world of difference between spa with 6 to 8 seating positions and actually putting 6 to 8 into your spa ......for most the majority of the time it is only 2 .....yours being a rental may in fact be the exception ...

That picture was taken in Colorado.  I have a store in Breckenridge.  That is a customers house.  

Yes Coyote Spas is made by Arctic.  However it is still built with the same quality as an Arctic.  Some of the differences are warranty, style of jets, and size of the cover.
