I was wondering if any dealers had Memorial Day Sales, and were they successful! I would love to hear any input from dealers about this topic.

We closed the stores early Saturday and all went to the boss' lakehouse. We did have a show team set up at the Tyler Mall and I believe they sold 15 over the weekend.

We where wall to wall with people!

Sold 7 spas, 2 pool tables, 3 grills, a gazebo and a lot of accessories!

(other than that it was kinda boring)

We were closed. I needed the time to recoup my strength - it has been very hectic lately.

I will say this: Things have changed a lot. In years gone by this would always be our best weekend of the year. I once sold 14 tubs by myself on a Memorial day weeked. We were open Monday that time, and we had three other sales people who didn't do as well...

Wow, sounds like you guys did very well! We are a fairly new retail store so all of the input really helps. We were opened Saturday, Sunday, and Monday! We sold 4 Spas and 3 above ground pools! For us that was pretty good. We were very surprised there was not as much traffic in the store, I guess people were smart and spent time with their families!

I needed MPS and stopped by the closest dealer a Master/Hydropool dealer at 3:30 on Saturday and he was closed.

probably would have been 20 if roger got of the phone with cheryl for more then 10 min.

Randall and I actually caught Roger out at the lake Sunday. You should have seen the look on his face when we pulled up beside his boat!

Nice to know. I asked him to come down here to help me with my home and garden show, however he was unable to due to him having to work fri, sat, sun, and mon at the tyler mall
