Price is Right revisited
« on: December 17, 2004, 03:52:19 pm »
Two years ago, I was an audience member at the Price is right in Hollywood.  The show featured a Beachcomber spa as a prize, but Bob kept calling it a "Jacuzzi".   The contestents that day were some of the dumbest humans on the planet, espcially the males 18-25 which makes me afraid for the existence of the human race.   The guy who won the Beacomber clearly had comprhension abilities of a 4 year old (If I can figure out how to get that portion of the show into a small enough mpeg, it would be hilarious to show. )

Anyway, went to lunch today, was drinking, playing pool and eating some great wings. They had TPIR on the TV today and this time they gave away a Masterspa and Bob got it right this time!

Keep on trying, but you'll never get the rest of the world to stop calling them all Jacuzzi's.
If you like it and you want it BUY IT!

Jacuzzi and Hot-Tub go hand n hand. When I was looking,I too used the word Jacuzzi when inquiring about spas/hot-tubs.

Luckily "Caldera" wasn't the first mass produced hot tub lol. Can you imagine people asking for a Caldera? lol

Used mine 2 days ago....felt great, esp as the weather here in FL was 40-50 ish.  At the moment it's 65 degrees.  Mon-tues next week, suppose to be in the high 20's,low 30's.....never thought I would be saying "can't wait till it gets colder" lol.

Anyways,Happy Holidays all!

Good thing, otherwise Windsurfdog would have been on the horn to the powers that be to have that show banned from ever being rerun.

I'm sorry but when you say Jacuzzi to me, that means a tub with jets in my BATHROOM.

No offense Jacuzzi owners.

When I was a dealer for them, way back before dirt, the name of the company was "Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath." They made tubs and tubs...

Actually it was. I'm not a biker (not that there is anything wrong with that  ;D) The place has great wings, which I'm obligated to check out  http://columbuswings.com and it has a pool table and is centrally located for my friends and I.  The girl behind the bar must like the show, she had it on.

Was it harder back then to soak in your spa? You know without electricity and all of the Indian attacks and everything!
