My water is too low in the hardness (CH) reading, what is the best way to raise it to the ideal range.

There are calcium booster products, which you should be able to pick up at any good spa store in your area.  
Maybe your dealer could suggest one.

First, get a Taylor Test Kit and read the booklet that accompanies it--it will answer all your questions plus give you specific quantities of calcium chloride to add to your water depending on the results of the titration test.
