Moisture in control panel display
« on: December 13, 2021, 09:16:00 pm »
I have moisture building in in my Caldera control panel display. It has been there for a few months, the controller still functions normally, it is just harder to see. I live in the humid south of the US. Any ideas how to correct this?

My first thought would be to leave the cover off on a sunny day.

I did try that for quite a few hours, it didn't seem to make any difference unfortunately.

Looks like a lot of water in there , probably going to take a while

I'd say to use a hair drier to get the temp up so it would speed up its evaporating, just would not want to get it too hot, But if the top was off on a hot sunny summer day it would get pretty hot anyway so....

I would talk to Caldera about it. I have the same control on my tub and it gets soaked all the time but so far nothing leaking in. It has to be coming in around the bezel. I have no idea if that comes apart or how it is sealed.

If it’s less then 5 years old put it through on warranty. That shouldn’t be Happening
