Jacuzzi Interior and Insulation

Long time lurker that was hoping to receive some advice.

In the winter my new Jacuzzi hot tub drained all of a sudden.  The repair guy noted it was due to a fitting that had to be replaced.

I was a bit concerned as the hot tub was only 2 months old at the time, however, the repair guy said there was no damage. Due to the cold weather I didn’t check myself after but planned to when it warmed up.  It’s been pretty crazy with everything going on so I only finally opened it today.

I have attached some pictures of the interior and to me it doesn’t look like there is any damage.  Some of the insulation looks a bit off but I’m assuming that is normal.  The only item I noted was the wood base appears to be splitting a bit at the bottom.  I just wanted to see if I should have no concerns?  The other item I was a bit surprised about was that there was no thermal insulation sheet covering the middle panel, is this normal? Would it be beneficial to purchase?
