Envoy, water overflow into speakers - does this drain?
« on: December 01, 2019, 07:38:33 pm »
This weekend we had a larger than normal # of bathers in the spa.  As a result, the water level was higher than normal, but below the speaker housings.  However, when moving around in the spa and from the pump action, occasional waves of water topped the speaker pod housings (the were in the down position).

Does anyone know if the water will drain out if it gets down in there?  Will this cause damage to the speakers?

We normally don't have as many bathers, so I don't want to change the water level for occasional use, but I also don't want to damage the speakers system.

Any help or comments are appreciated.

Just had speakers installed in my new 2019 Jetsetter with the popup speakers.

Yes, they have a drain which drains the water out the side of the tub, no need to worry about stale water sitting in the bottom of those speakers!

Great, was hoping that it was designed that way.  Thanks
