Found leak in HotSpring spa. Now I need parts to fix it.
« on: August 27, 2016, 08:08:07 pm »
Hi, I'm a regular poster on a plumbingforums.com but now need some advice on spa plumbing.

I have a pin hole in 1-1/2" tubing.
Fittings look like standard sch 40 PVC.
What is the flexible pipe and where do I get some?
What is the best way to clean off the foam to glue on new fittings?
Can termites chew through that pipe. I had tiny pellets leading up to the leak as I took out the foam.
Can I upload a picture here directly from my CPU or do I have to use site like photo bucket to link photos here?

WOW!!At the time of this post there were 45 views.
Not a single reply  :(

1st question I had:
That's Okay. Found the parts at Home Depot
2nd question I had:
I scrapped the foam off with a utility knife blade and a little sand paper.
3rd & 4th are still hanging out for a response.
No worries. Found plenty of help elsewhere.  8)
