Bullfrog A series Auxilliary Control Pad loose on top
« on: July 17, 2016, 01:02:02 am »
Does anyone know how to tight down the bullfrog Auxilliary Control Pad that is on the top of the A series?  I have one that is lifting up around the trim to the control pad.

The black plastic trim ring around the aux control pad that sits flush on the spa shell is not flush on the shell like the other side and my previous bullfrog a8.

Im not sure how these are installed at the factory and if there is a way to tighten down the trim ring to keep water from going down it and looking nicer.

Like jacuzzi jim said its just two sided tape pry it up clean it and the surface light bead of silicon.  It should be covered by your dealer.

I have this problem on my A7. I'm getting in touch with the dealer and will report back.

I contacted BF directly and they stated 2 options

- The trim piece is just held by doublesided tape (pull up, clean it, and put a dab of silicon on the shell, and push back down)
- Contact your dealer and request a replacement Control pad (remove old one, route cable to control panel, clean shell surface, and install new one)

Let me know what your dealer ends up doing for you.
