Good round tub?
« on: June 23, 2014, 11:31:35 pm »
Hi all!  I'm overwhelmed.  My research thus far tells me I want a round tub to accommodate socialization.  I have kids age 12 and 9, I am 5'5" husband is 5'10". I don't want loungy obstructions.  I'd like jet options for massage and whirlpool bubbling.  Foot massage a bonus.  I  finding way more square tubs than round.  Anyone have a recommendation of a good manufacturer / model for us?

Nordic makes a very solid round tub.

I'm 5'10", my wife is 5'4", kids are 15, 13, and 9, and we own a Jacuzzi J375, and love it.

I think your options in a round tub will be rather limited, but you may find that a square, non-lounger fits your needs.  Lots of brands, options, and price points to choose from.  I went with a Sunrise S104 for our family of 4.  It has 4 primary seats and 3 secondary. Plenty of jets, LEDs, Bluetooth stereo, and most importantly, very comfortable and relaxing.

I think Sundance has a round tub...Maybe do a wet tests of it and you might find you like the square ones better...
It's the Sundance Denali in the 680 series...good luck with what you should choose...

The largest non swim spa is about 8 feet square and all tubs without a lounger face into the tub so a square, non lounger will be great for socializing. I think you should look at the square tubs to see if they meet what you are looking for.

Thanks folks!  I see wet tests in my future.  There is something I just like about round, aesthetically as well as functionally, but I will keep my mind open!

When looking at the Nordic consider the XL models, just a bit deeper which I liked.
