Green Water

I haven't used the tub for about 8 days, nor have I had the cover off.  I took the cover off today to check the water chemistry and the water looked pretty green.  The test strips looked like everything was in the normal range.  I added 3 tablespoons of shock. the water has only been in the tub for 5 weeks.  I've sprayed the filters off with the hose every weekend except for the last two weekends.  I need help please.

Couple ounces of Dichlor - run the jets with the lid open for at least half an hour.

Then test - if the chlorine level has dropped, add another ounce of Dichlor and run the jets for another half hour.

Then take out your filter and rinse it.

Should be fine next day.
