Help Spa temperature changing on it's own
« on: November 19, 2012, 08:31:36 pm »
I have a Sundance Marin Spa and it keeps resetting itself to 80 degrees. Even after I change the temperature to 104 it will reset itself to 80 within a few minutes. Is there any way I can fix this or do I need to call for service. It started about a week ago.

Welcome!  Sounds like a service issue. How old is this tub?  Specifically 80 degrees?  Sounds like a computer glitch or stuck button?

Have you tried to just reboot your tub?  I know that sounds crazy, but thats the first thing I do whenever any of my computer driven contraptions get crazy...Maybe just turn it off for a few minutes.  I know my tub retains the last set temperature when I turn it off..but I would give it a try anyway..

Not without merit.  I did find out this week my 2012 Sundance holds is temp when power is shut off and restored.  But this idea is unlikely to hurt.  I tell my customers, when in doubt, reboot.
