« on: June 15, 2012, 12:31:33 pm »
The tub got up to 100 degrees and thenflashed a FL2 error. Based on reading is that a new flow control? Should I check anything else?

Thanks
Dave

FL2 usually indicates a bad flow switch.

I'm only following this thread by skimming - there are some people who know a lot more about this brand than I do. I will add this: there are plenty of times when two faults come up at the same time, and you may very well have to take them one at a time. But you seem to be getting some great help, and I am sure you will beat this thing!!

Enjoy -

I am fine with it and figured it might be like this. Only got to 84 degress when the first error happened which was an oh. So I replaced the hi limit sensor. That seemed to resolve that issue then the fl2 appeared at about 100 degrees, so I will change the flow sensor. Hope that will resolve the issue.

Thanks
Dave

I replaced the flow switch and the errors went away but every couple of hours the tub would turnoff with the gfci with no warning. Figured that could be a malfuntioning ozone so I disconected it and the tub has been running clean for two days.

If i no longer use the ozone should I change the circulation pump to another setting? How is that done?

Thanks
Dave
