« on: October 14, 2005, 01:52:35 pm »
went on sale today...

I am so bummed.  I was ready at 9:45 (they went on sale at 10)... I had 3 computers logged on, 2 phones dialing and I got NOTHING!!!!!   :'(   :'(  So sad!

On a brighter note, my fantasy football team is 5-0.   :)

Those are the best kind!!!

I'm now rooting for either the Astros who've never one or the White Sox who've waited about 90 years. If not I wouldn't mind the Angels win again but above all, I don't want to see Tony LaWhiner win it (though I've been to St Loius and it is truly has great baseball fans).

If the Yankees were in the WS, I wouldn't be able to go... otherwise we are Yankee fans first, then Angel fans cause they are local.

When the Angels were playing the Yankees last week, my 18mo old was cheering for the Angels and his dad was so mad.  When we asked him if he liked the Angels he shook his head yes and when we asked if he liked the Yankees he shook his head no.  It was too funny.

Actually, any team that wins a title too many times in a row gets boring, unless you're a diehard fan.

I'm not really into sports and whether it's the Yankees winning or the Patriots winning after a while I think it's time to break it up.

Have you been watching them play?  It's pure luck they pulled off being 3-0, let alone 5-0.  I'm sorry, I'm bitter... Marvin Harrison was my #2 pick and he is sucking @ss.  I think I got 1 point from him.  Heck, even Anquan Boldin from AZ is putting up better, more consistent numbers.  Brandon Lloyd, SF he has better numbers. That is pretty sad.

Last years No. 1 offense, has given way to this years No. 1 Defense. don't worry Brooke, Marvin and Peyton will produce. Certainly NOT luck, and SF wasn't about to let the Colts take the record at home, not with all the double and tripple teaming they did on Marvin, which opened up many other players to perform, for a sound beating! Do I watch the colts, unfortunatly, I'm usually here at the store when they are playing, but I guarantee it's on the Spa stereo and I can see the game on the TV in my head with Ted Marchbroda and Bob Lamey doing the radio play by play. P.S. Defense wins Super Bowls!

Defense also helps me be 5-0 on FF.  They are much more consistent than my offense seems to be.

I appreciate a good defense as much as the next guy, but I like to see some action on the offense too.
