2005 artesian replacement jets
« on: February 07, 2010, 12:36:04 am »
I have recently noticed that alot of my jets are wanting to come apart, The back is seperating from the face.  I'm pretty sure they used waterway jets in my model but was wondering if someone could point me in a direction to by replacement parts for them.  The jets are the mini storms.

You can try here: http://spapartsnet.com/Jets/Waterway or maybe somewhere else on the net. Also, since they are Waterway any dealer that sells parts or repairs different tubs may be able to get them. Waterway also has a distributor finder at their website http://www.waterwayplastics.com/

This is what i found there,

http://spapartsnet.com/Jets/Waterway/Storm/Mini/218-6930_5341_4_1.html

I have found the same thing from another site as well.
http://www.spadepot.com/shop/Diffuser-Waterway-Mini-Storm-P9601C700.aspx

Can anyone verify this would be the correct part?

Also the tub in still in warranty but i kind of figured this would not be covered.  Am i correct in this or should i at least check with my dealer.

If the tub is in warranty, always check with your dealer..actually even if it is not in warranty check anyway. He may have a less expensive alternative or even replace them free if they were a problem to many of his customers. Good luck and let us know how it works out for you

I will check with them tomorrow and let you guys know.  I'm sure he will say it's first problem he's heard of them but we will see. ;D

Even at 4 or 5 bucks each i'm not too worried if i have to pay out of pocket for them I only need 32 of them. :D

Jenny, don't offer to pay out of pocket yet...if he says he hasn't heard of it before, ask him to investigate and get back to you. How long is the warranty on your tub? If the problem is with the jets, he should be able to get them from the manufacturer for you. If there was a defect in manufacturing that caused them to fall apart, the manufacturer should be responsible if they are still in warranty.

I would definately call the dealer if it's under warranty. I had issues with my jets a while back and my dealer took care of them under warranty. I also called Artesian and talked to them as well. I was extremely happy on how I was treated by both my dealer and Artesian!

How long is the warranty on your tub?

It is 5 years and I was just in to pick up some chemicals and priced out a new filter lid cover.  We did confirm it was still under warranty until Oct I believe.

Artesian has wide variety of jets, the face of the jet may look the same, but you have to be sure and get the back of the jet right.

I buy parts from these guys as a dealer, not sure they sell to the public but they have a fantastic parts list with exploded views.   Worth a call, either way you can make sure you get the right jet via the part number.

I have the old diffuser with a part number on it 218-6930.  I found 30 of them in Canada and they are 4 bucks each.  I will order them all and be done with it.
