Service Update

Good morning/afternoon,

Well, they're supposed to show up between 11 and 2 today to look at the stereo controller.

I also noticed a 3/8" to 1/2" gap between the shell and the top of the side support. When you look in it you can see the tubing, foam, shell etc. That can't be right as that's an open invitation to hornets etc. That's actually what made me notice it.
Makes me wonder where all the weight is being supported.

I mentioned that as well when he called.

I hope this turns out to be a positive experience.

I'll let you know.

Term's pictures got me to thinking, can you take a picture and show us what you mean?

I will certainly try. Apparently it's normal for 700 series Sundance tubs. I'm going to go check the 08' floor models to compare.

That reminds me that I never posted pics when I first received the tub.

I was on the local Sundance showroom floor last weekend, and I think I would have noticed this.  My Dynasty has a lip that the cabinet fits under. I'm not sure of the quality of the seal from bugs, but they would have to crawl up the side of the spa underneath the lip and then down the backside of the walls, there is nothing visibile of the inside from the outside.  My pumps don't need cooling. (as far as I know, I've had one replaced in 5 years that had the wet side bearings go bad. (sounded like a car with no brake pads left)

I have to bend over but, I can definitely see a 3/4" pipe with some fittings coming out. It goes the whole length of the access side. There is plenty of access for critters.

Seems to me I'll lose a fair amount of heat during the winter months.

Compare it to a showroom floor model or two if you can.
