First post here ... been lurking around this forum on and off for a couple of years now and found some really great information. We were going to buy a couple of years ago, but hesitated because of a huge Texas A&M tuition bill (one more year!). Because of my ever-aching back, necessity has now come into play.

I have researched all the brands available in my area, and decided that in my mind and heart, Hot Spring was the way to go for both reliability and comfort. The salesperson was great and knowledgeable and didn't give me that "sales pitch" tone. He was also impressed about how much I knew about the Hot Spring brand!

Calling the electrician on Monday so I can get my new Tiger delivered! I can't wait!

Thanks for all the great posts. I'm sure I'll be on the forum a lot more now that I actually have a tub! I'm sure ya'll will have all the answers to my chemical and maintenance questions.

Texas is where I live, Louisiana is my love.
I'm a misplaced cajun! Hope to make it back home someday!

Thanks! We went to All Seasons, the only HotSpring dealer in our area. Didn't want to make the drive to Houston and worry about the extra delivery charge and the "what if's."

I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep tonight with all the set-up ideas running through my head. Thinking about making a tropical oasis with tropical plants and accessories ... or, what about a Margaritaville theme ...

Hubby says I'm just excited b-cuz I have a new area to decorate ... he may be right! Going shopping for new patio furniture tomorrow.

Sure hope that A&M education pays off, cuz there will be no inheritence left!

Please post pictures before and after you install.
We don't get to see many pictures of tubs in Texas, they are kind of shy and quiet down there.

I had a Tiger River Caspain and it was a great tub. I am sure you will enjoy the bengal.

Wow! Ya'll sure know how to make a new tub owner feel welcome!

Had the electrician over today to take a look, and he said he can get to me next week. I don't know how much longer I can wait ... I'm a woman and I want it now! Anyway, I guess it's just as well since we will be at the beach this weekend for the holiday. I've waited this long, I guess another few days won't hurt. In the meantime, I'll continue to read the forums and read my owner's manual to get familiar with the tub and maintenance.
