It's a great system.  I'm a little biased, but I think it's pretty much solved the dilemma of what to do with the iPod around the spa while you're in it.  It sounds great!

I concur with Clown Shoes...the SpAudioCast is a very nice system.  I never cared for the SpAudio I or the SpAudio II and the built-in stereo units, but the wireless system works great and is the only way to go, in my opinion.

The Icast is the best of the Spaudio systems. I have not had to go back and fix any icast setups, as for the spaudio I & II thats another story.

I am assuming that the Audiocast system uses the same basic speaker systems and amps as the SpAudio II system.  Am I correct in this?  Does it work off the same floating Remote?

For someone who already has SpAudio II installed, is there an economical way to upgrade the existing system for the Audiocast?  I would love to have the convenience of using an Ipod for the music.

Same basic system as SPA II as I recall.  There is an additional gizmo that needs to be added if you want both CD player and wireless.  Cost was about 600.00
We had  trouble with CD player, and went to strictly wireless, and love it.

Buffip, are you saying that you did an upgrade to a SpAudioII system to the SpAudio Cast system?  
Did your dealer do this for you?

Yep thats what we did.
Readers Digest version:
 Lots of trouble with the radio, added Spaudio, so for a while, had AM/FM/CD and Spaudio.  More trouble with AM/FM/CD deck, had it removed, and added a new panal to replace the hole.  Spaudio only now, and love it.
Clear as mud?
BTW not a hiccup from Spaudio 8-)

Buffip, can you give me an idea of the cost for the swap?  It sounds like something I would like to do with my tub.  Much more convenient than messing with cds!

Sorry, I can't really say.  I purchased the Spaudio as an add on to SPA II.   Had so much trouble with SPA II (the marine grade CD/AM/FM portion) that the service center removed SPA II and left only Spaudio.  My purchase of Spaudio was 600.00, but the guys installed it for free.  Clear as mud?
