Here's a pic of the current conditions here in the STL. They said this storm has the capabilities to do as much harm as the Great Ice Storm of 2007; Where hundreds of thousands of people lost power for up to week. I have my treble light ready to go in case I lose power to the spa.......

How are you going to use the trouble light if you lose power?? You must have a generator as well??

It isnt much better here in Kansas, but not as bad as what you are getting. Just sleet and snow, but very slick roads.

There was ICE on the cover clip...  That didn't stop me from taking a dip.   8-)

We usually soak around 10pm, but it was to start getting nasty at 9, so in the early evening I covered up the tub with a tarp, so we skipped last night, but at least I won't have snow and ice to remove tonight.

Yeah, I live south of Chicago in Joliet so it's been icey and in the teens.
Pretty much every night I go out, there is ice on the spa cover and on the clips...

Funny thing is convincing my friends to make the little walk from the house to the tub (10 feet) and they think it will be FREEZING.  It isn't that bad.  And getting OUT for me is not nearly as bad because your body tempature is so warm.  I can get out, put the cover lid back on, grab my iPod...  I have gotten used to the "long walk."

I am hoping for some warmer weather coming up in the next month or so.  Next week I will be in South Carolina, and the week after Tampa.  It will be hard to come home to temps in the teens.

Stay warm, Shane
