With company you tend to want to stay in longer, I would go to 102.   104, is great, but after 20 minutes, you will probably want to be getting out.
You are correct.  I had company over, set it to around 102 and it was PERFECT.

We were in longer than normal, and we really enjoyed it.

102 is where I keep my temp, summer and winter.

My tub doesn't get that hot, I believe 104 is the MAX.
What kind of tub do you have?

My spa goes to 108 with a quick jumper change, but newer Sundance (and Jacuzzi) spas can't do it.  HotSpring spas could go to 108 but as far as I know, they stopped also.

Thanks, I think 104 is plenty warm for me.  I leave it around 101 or 102 when I am in.

Thanks, Shane

104 is an entirely different experience.....i like it occasionally.  102 is pleasant enough.

I have not had it passed 102 and I am in cold 12-20 degree weather here in Illinois.

My friends and I don't like it too hot, but it's nice around 102.

I took a plunge last night at 104 for 20 minutes and I was a noodle when I got out. I usually just go in at 103 but I was really sore and needed the extra heat. 105, I have done and could handle it for a short while but I don't see how anyone could soak longer than 5 minutes in anything hotter. :o
