Clear and Bright causing foaming
« on: January 13, 2008, 11:48:46 am »
Every week when I do my maintenance I would get a bunch of foam.  The night before when soaking....no foam.  So I started to run the system a lot after each chemical add trying to figure out which was causing it.....It's te bright and clear.  I get the water right and then I add 2 oz of this stuff and mr bubbles appear.....and I mean a lot.  any hints on why?

Overuse of clarifiers will cause foaming.  There is no need to use a clarifier as a normal maintenance product.  Use it only when you cannot get your water to clear.  I use Bright and Clear when my water has a haze that normal filtering won't handle.  In over five years, I am only on my second bottle.  If you want a weekly maintenance product, try LeisureTime Enzyme.  This  will help with oils and soaps.
