I don't think I logged in for more than ten years, lost my tub in the divorce but now have and love my Caldera Tahitian, have had it for 7 years.
Tips for reducing the hardness of my well water? Bought a vanshing pillow but haven't gotten it yet.
Suggestions for geting the rust stains that leaked out of the speakers?
Thanks.

Last year my control panel fried and I recently bought a replacement panel (Balboa 54640 Circuit Board). Almost everything is exactly the same with the exception of 1 or 2 wires and the switchbank. Should I match it exactly the same as the last one? Wondering if there is a “standard” or “default” that then has the be slightly modified based on the current setup.

Jacuzzi J345 (2015) in the Seattle area. Last year did freeze and a connection on one Motor froze and then leaked I replaced the motor. Still have a slight leak somewhere. Lose about 1" or 2"of water a month during the summer Decided to get rid of it. Just removed the sides And wondered what the chances are it would sell. Otherwise probably going to cut it into pieces And go to the dump and sell se of the hardware, pumps, controller, etc. Anybody been down this road before? .

Just bought a new spruce wooden hot tub, it need painting on the outside - manual suggests linseed oil which is cheap enough but wondering is there anything better, used Osmo before now and that seems good. Would also like to darken it a bit as its very Pine in colour.
Thoughts please?

I have a 2007 Caldera Moorea that has been good to me thus far. Today I opened it to 4 dashes on the control. I powered it off at the breaker box, it reset and seemed to work. But when I press the jet 2 pump button jet 1 pump starts? If I hit jet 2 pump again it starts in low speed. Seems to be heating when pumps are off and the circ pump is running. I haven't opened it up yet but have a feeling it's the control board? Dam that's expensive was hoping to get a couple more years, any ideas what the problems is? I hate to throw part at it. Been through some circ pumps and heater board so far. Thanks!

Hello, Has anyone had a problem with their Caldera Vacanza 2015 not heating up. I have checked the parameters and the cleaning timer is working fine, the filter is not clogged or dirty. I have tried turning it off and on again but to no avail, there is no error code and the Start light is flashing.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Thanks.

Vita Spa's are owned by Maxx Spas. They share a lot of the same technology. They are not one of my top choices but they don't suck either.
My top choices are Hot Springs/Caldera, Sundance and Artesian. Most Maxx Spas use perimeter insulation. I'm not in the camp where this is better than full foam. They are usually easier to work on but they are not as well insulated as a full foam tub.
More important is the dealer support. If your dealer sucks, your service will suck. Warranty is covered by the dealer. It's very necessary to ask the dealer questions about warranty and if possible, speak to others who have bought from the dealer.

Just visited a dealer that carries Hot Springs spas. Was shown an Envie spa from Vita spas. Never heard of this company before. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
