Title: Circulator motor bad, need replacement suggestion
Post by: Hubjeep on April 23, 2007, 09:57:48 pm
You can see bit of smoke just above foil wrapped tube surrounding motor to the left (why is it configured like that anyway?), needless to say it tripped the breaker.

Is this a common motor?

Thanks, John

Howdy all,
The number on the butt of the motor is 319-0010 "M"

The Magnetek motor is # JF1G081N
220V
3,200 / 2,700 RPM

Any help would be great, if I order one today it may be here by the end of the week.  Thanks,
John

I called up VitaSpa, they now use a Laing pump #420437-6KT, the original is discontinued.

The fellow on the phone said that basically any 220V circ pump could work as long as the plumbing hooks up.

 :-?
