We are purchasing our first hot tub, seriously considering a SOLANA TX. Anyone have any experience with this model and what is a fair price, local dealer is asking $3895.00.

What all is included in the price you were quoted?? It seems a little high.

Welcome to the forum!
The Solana TX is one of our most popular spas. It has been on the market since 2001. During that time, I have had 1 service call on that spa (a malfunctioning check valve that took about 5 minutes to fix under warranty). My wife and I are both around 6' tall and we have plenty of room in it, although our feet do touch one another's occasionally. I have one customer who is 6'4" and 280 lbs that owns one, and he fits in there quite comfortably.
You can put that spa pretty much anywhere. We put one on a houseboat at Lake O' the Pines a few years ago. We've put them in apartments, townhouses, and mobile homes, too.
We sell the TX for $4295 ($3800 on sale) with the cover, delivery, and start up chemicals. It is very easy to move with two people and a pickup truck, so you might ask the dealer about a cash and carry price.
Good luck and good shopping! :)

Looks like a nice cozy spa....
And if it's made by Watkins...it's must be pretty
good because they have a name to protect.

The TX is a great spa. I agree with Term, try to get a cash and carry price. Of all the Hot Spring made spas, this is the easiest one to take home on your own. All you have to do is fill it and plug it in. Add a little chems and you're good to go.
Good luck.
