Title: Emerald bought Great Lakes???

Anybody have any details on this?   Why did Emerald buy Great Lakes?  I didn't know GL was a hot commodity.

Maybe they were looking to grab their dealer network and from looking at their websites they're both in Michigan (looks like about 30 miles per Mapquest) so they'll obviously look to consolidate to one and cut their overhead costs.

Some years ago GL purchased Almost Heaven ... They bought them for their line of saunas. Picked them up for almost nothing in bankruptcy court (pissed me off I didn't hear about it till after the fact).
