Will you/have you ever welcome in the new year in the tub?
This is my first year having a spa, so I haven't done it before but I plan on being in there when the new year begins. :)

We are having friends over tonight. I told people that they are welcome to bring bathing suits. I imagine the tub will get a lot of use tonight. Maybe even around midnight!
To all, a Happy New Year!
Cheers,
G

I think I will give it a try, if I can stay awake! ;D ;D

Crap tonight is New Years Eve? Seriously, I've been gone so long, I didn't even realize. I'm sure I'll be asleep by 11 like every New Year, lol.

Well, I helped load in about 4 or 5 tons of tile yesterday. We are refinishing the floor of the fellowship hall at church. So I was in the tub last night, and first thing this morning. I might be in again this afternoon...
I couldn't have moved that much to save my life a year ago. Wow. I really endorse this excercise and eating right stuff. Give it a try.
But I think I may need a second soak this evening, to keep everything moving back there, and why not wait until midnight so I can welcome the new year in from the tub?
Great idea Bill!

I will do that tonight
My wife is gone to NY and my kids go to bet at 8

For the last many years, we're always out on NYE, toasting the new year with a midnight dessert buffet and enought dancing to burn it all off. But perhaps after the party.......

Chas,
I know exactly how you feel. I do tile/stone for a living and being self employed we stock are own jobs to keep overhead at a minimum, no matter how big the job. I say "we" meaning my dad and uncle who are the majority owners, but it's more like me stocking about 90% and them the other 10%. The biggest job I ever stocked by myself was 1800 sq ft of 18x18 porcelain plus 120 sheets of 1/2'' durock and about 50 bags of mortar. I wish I had a hot tub at that time but I was not as fortunate. I've since been fortunate enough to be able to afford one and I couldn't imagine living w/o it on days like that anymore.

Well the rain has started to really come down here and the winds are howling like crazy. I'm not sure if I'll be out there or not anymore. :(

We thought it would be cool to be in the tub tonight, but it has started to rain here too...and I had a sick thought. There have been so many accidental shootings..by people celebrating using firearms...I am almost afraid to be outside ...like a sitting (soaking) duck!!
The kids that live next to me like to shoot off shot guns at midnight.. :-/

Geez, Boni...Term lives nextdoor to you??? Tell him to keep his gun-totin' weirdo kids firearm free so's you can soak in peace!! ;)
Happy New Year, everyone!!

I will not be getting my tub till April. I plan on being in it next new years :D
-
I'm off to my tub with my champagne right now...Happy New Years all!!!!!
-
I'm shooting off this this huge fireworks thing at midnight. I can hardly wait. This is how us grownups have fun! ;D
-
Well, I got into my tub last year, and got out this year.
That was a long soak.
Got real noisy in our neighborhood. Pots and pans, lots of people yelling, a few fireworks and some car alarms.
Fun.

Happy new year everyone, I hope 2007 brings happiness to all. It is funny thing about life, as the years pass, I thank god every day for keeping my family safe and with us. Last night there was a tripple accident fatality in my area with 3 more in critical condition. I dont know if it is the job or just me getting older, but I worry about more and more as the years pass.
Anyways, take time in your day to call the ones that you love, and really appreciate what we have rather than what we want. I dont mean to be debbie downer, just very greatful today!!!
Happy new year.

Bosco,
Very well said. Happy New Years to everyone. Family is special and it should not be assumed they will be always with us. Cherish what you have each day and don't wait for the holidays to appreciate them. As a fellow worker in the EMS field I share your feelings about our families staying safe. I don't believe I am getting older, just a bit more mature IMHO. ::) ;D
Happy new year.

We rang the new year in our tub. :)
We're soooooooo tired of the club scene and overpriced, over crowded resturants on New Years. For the past few years my wife and I and about 3-4 friends get togethor for a movie, a few drinks some take out, and at midnight we do the countdown from the hottub followed with several hundred dollars of very high quality, very illegal fireworks er. um, folk singing....yea., and lots of champagne. :)
It was great.
i hope everyone had a great celebration and a wonderful new years.
