sight looks really good. Gomboman, are you really looking to go into buisness with hotsprings?? I read the bottom of your post.
-
Gombo, I have an opening in my business for an accountant.
Also, I'd consider buying another HS dealer out in my area right now, but I don't have the right person to run that store.
-
Terminator, could run it. But I don't think you could get him out of Texas.
-
They've made some nice changes; it's a great site!
-
Yes, someone needs to open a store in the Murrietta/Temecula/Corona area. Gombo can run it and I can have an evening and weekend job there. :)

This is straight from sundancespas.com.
"Since opening its first manufacturing facility in Costa Mesa, California in 1979, Sundance Spas® has grown to become the world's largest manufacturer of acrylic spas. An international manufacturer and distributor of the most technologically advanced, well designed, and durable spas in the world, Sundance Spas can be found in more than 700 retail locations in over 51 countries."
I guess this means Sundance has the most spa manufacturing plants and Hot Springs sells the most spas. :-?

Since there is no independent auditing, we will never know. Each claims to be the biggest.

Why hasn't there been an independent audit?
-
Why does it matter?

For most of it's history, HotSpring did not make/sell Acrylic tubs. So Sundance can say what they say. They are not the largest maker of 'portable tubs,' though.
There was a guy in Camarillo who is now long gone, but he claimed be the largest maker of Portable Hot Tubs - again, at that time, HotSpring was not refering to it's units as 'Hot Tubs.'
I suppose somebody could offer a purple and green tub, and it wouldn't take long before they would be the "World's largest maker of Purple and Green Tubs."
-
I couldn't figure out why my avatar of HS hydromassage jets wouldn't work. I didn't even think about this.

Yep. Its a play on words a.k.a. marketing. :)
Nice to see you Chas. Hope all is well.

As far as who sells/makes more spa's kinda bugged me when I first started at this forum, but who really cares. Between the 3 Jacuzzi,Sundance and Watkins all are very good at what they do and all 3 have nice product.
I know some may care when purchasing a spa I myself could care less who makes or sells more,I would look at the comfort, style and features each has to offer not to mention the sales guy and the rep of the company selling the spa. If your not a good salesman and company with a good reputation and I dont like you or what you have to say its not going to matter who builds/sells the most I am not going to buy it. Like always people vary in this and some will buy on that accord only but not alot.
It really does come down to sales. knowledge, reputation and the product itself.
Oh and the famed WITY Whats improtant to you. Just my 2 cents worth.
