My Sundance came with a standard set of plastic steps, and there are two steps. I think I'd prefer a set with three steps so it's not such a reach to get over the edge of the tub. Where could I get a set that would match the color of my tub like my current steps do (see pic)? Would Sundance be the best place to go through? If so, could I somehow order them without having to go through my dealer? I've sworn to never step foot in that place again or to spend another dollar with them (but that's a different story)...

I can get them for you. They would be wood, not plastic. They would be UPSed to you in a KD kit. PM me if you are interested.

Why didnt your dealer put the right color cover on your spa or was it before it was available??

hottubdan -- coming your way!
Jacuzzi Jim -- we wanted a color on the cover that would contrast a little. Didn't want to go for a monochrome look (and I don't think they have a cover that color anyway). We kinda like the dark brown...

if it doesn't work out with Dan you may look at this site for steps too...
they make a great quality product and are very nice on the phone
they told me they frequently do custom work
i bet they could match the color

ps: Also you may want to add a "grab handle" like I did...it really helps "in & out"

How tall is your tub??? I have a two step and my tub is almost 40" high. Will the third step go right to the top?

I don't know what you're talking about -- the tub is full. My water is just so perfect that you can't even see it....
:D

Yeah, A and B has real nice stuff. I wonder about the cost though... what does a set of steps typically run?

I think the tub must be around 40" high, and with the two-tier steps it's not too bad to get in. It would just be much easier and more convenient to have that higher 3rd tier... :)

I like having the three tiered steps. It would be very feasible to get in and out with only two, but three is nice. Each of my steps is 11" tall, and the edge of the tub is about 14-15" above the last step.
