Title: The 2nd best way to start my day.
Post by: tileman on December 10, 2006, 09:08:21 am
Good morning everyone.
This morning I watched the sunrise from in my spa. It was awesome. :o I wish I had the chance to do it more often but my job doesn't allow for it as I have to leave my house at 6am M-F. It was such a nice way to start my day. The only better way is when I get wake up nookie. :) Being single now, it will have to suffice on those lonely mornings. :(  Does anyone make this a part of their daily routine?

Absolutely!  This is how I use my hot tub.  At least four or five days a week I jump in as dawn breaks and since my deck faces East, I get to see the most beautiful sunrises you can imagine.   I live on a forested golf course and my deck overlooks a couple ponds and two fairways lined with a mix of Pines and Hardwoods.  There are always deer around playing or laying down on the fairways and it just makes for a great setting.  I seldom get in at night - depends on how I feel after my round of golf.  I retired eleven years ago and this has been an important part of the begining of my day since.  "Wake up nookie"?  What's that?

I'm very envious of you, to say the least. It sounds absolutely spectacular. I hope when I retire I have the oppurtunity to live in such a neighborhood. Is there any chance you could post some pics for me?

Tileman, I can send a photo or two if I knew how.  I'm new to the forum and never did it before.  If you can give me some instructions I'll try.

No problem. This is a frequent topic here. If you go to page 5 of this forum, you'll see a thread by Wes called "help the tech dummy". There are detailed instructions for how to post a pic. However it starts from already having the pics uploaded from your digital camera to your computer. If you need help doing that, just ask. If not just follow the instructions given and you should be good to go. If you run into any problems, again don't hesitate asking as it might take a time or two. I know it took me a few times before I caught on but now I post pics sometimes just for the fun of it. Good Luck, CHAD

setup an account with a photo hosting program.  I use photo bucket.  all you do is upload your photos to your account.  then uder each photo you wil see some links.  Look for the one that says img.   The code starts with

[img]  copy that hole code.  then paste in your post and you are sharring your photos in no time.  I only used photo bucket because I find it to be the easiest one to use.

Well, I was able to post a couple photos without too much trouble.  I followed the instructions (which now are on page 6 of the forum).  First, I tried imageshack and was not too impressed.  Then, I went to your recommendation of photobucket and it was a bit easier, especially following your instructions.  Thanks for the tips!

Well, at about six AM, you may be watching the grounds crew mow them greens. ;D

It is a wonderful view.  I, too, am a morning soaker.  Nights are just too dificult for me.  Mornings allow me to be consistant.

Hey Tileman, why does it say "ex" member?  I've only been here a week or so but you've been nothing but kind and helpful to me - why are you leaving?

Short, very nice view. I hope to live on a golf course someday myself. What part of the country are you in?

I live in a part of Texas known as the East Texas "Piney Woods".  It is 130 miles east of Dallas and about the same west of Shreveport, LA.  I'm sort of right between the two.  Tyler, Tx. is a "city" near me and it is about 40 miles to my south.  Another you may of heard of is Longview, Tx. which is 35 or 40 miles away as well.

Although this might be considered in the middle of nowhere, I am lucky to be close to Terminator's showroom in Longview.  In fact, I am going in tomorrow for a Hot Springs wet test.  Term is a Hot Springs dealer and one of the forum's frequent contributors.
