Nice setup Tileman, and real clean looking.

Looks very cozy and private!
I think I have the same planters as you~ :-? Where did you get them?
I got mine at Frank's Nursery and Crafts a couple years ago for probably $40 each. (but I got them on a buy one-get one free, of course ;)) and the chain closed up on me.
I wish I could find more. They totally match my house and outside decor.
Hey, what is that wavy-grate thing on the right? Is it a speaker?
-
Thanks for the compliments. :)
Kervis, I got my planters at Lowe's for $25 each.
The grate looking thing is perferatted drain tubing. It's attached to a downspout for my gutters. It's the only one I haven't buried yet. So many things to do but it's on the list. You know how that goes. ;D

looks awsome. I love the privacy fence. Well done

Thanks Bosco.
My neighbors are right on top of me, so the fence gives me and my lady :-* some much needed privacy. ;)

Love it - nice and private! I'm putting up a white privacy fence around mine too (that probably won't get done until the spring). Looks great!!!
-
Nice pics!! I sell Jacuzzi's and if I were to get one it would most likely be the J-345,for me it just works and is a great sized spa for most couples with or without kids. I really think alot of buyers over do it on size. Do I mind selling the big ones heck no but most of the time the average spa owner only has 2 ta 3 people at a time in there spa.
-
Very nice setup. Great pix.
-
Nice setup Chad,
Another J-345 resting comfortably in its new home.
Mine came home around this time last year.

;D ;D ;D--That's funny! I am not too familiar with a lot of hot tubs. I meant the grate thingy IN your hot tub. Right on the side of your spa next to your house. It has a nice swirly design. Maybe it's an air-intake valve? It looks like water could get in it so it shouldn't be a speaker or intake thing.....I was just curious as to what that was.
The brand new Lowe's by my house will be opening in the next 2 months or so--can't wait!!
-
Yes, I remember this svspa. You had just got it and now I see your finished pictures. This turned out well. I remember something about conduit and some other stuff. Looks good.

Ohhhh, that's were my filters are. It's a panel that houses my filters and that grate looking thing is where the water comes in to be filtered. You lift the panel out of the water to get out the filters. Also there is a skim bag connected on the inside of the grate to prevent big debris from getting into the filters. I had never seen a skim bag before until I went to Jacuzzi. It really helps keep the filters clean.

Chad, those are awesome pics! 8-)
Thanks for sharing.
How do you like your new camera?
-
Thanks for all the compliments everyone.
Svspa, why'd you have to show me up like that. ;D
Very nice work on the project. It turned out beautiful. I wish I had more space to work with but like I said my neighbors are on top of me, so I couldn't bring my patio out any further. I did the best I could with what I had. ;)
-
Tell me, pictures 2 and 3 are not taken from the Kid's room. ;)

Thanks SW, not to bad for my first photo session huh.
I went up on a 18' ladder to get those aerial views. My neighbors think I'm crazy. ;D
I absolutely love it. Thanks for asking. I can't see the new toy excitement wearing off any time soon. ;)

I too was drawn towards the bigger models because I didn't want to grow out of a 7x7. My dealer asked me how many people were going to use the spa regularly? and I told him just me 95% of the time, so he said since it's just you and it's you first spa I'd start with a 7x7. What an honest guy huh. Instead of trying to persuade me into something I didn't need (like all the other dealers in my area) he wanted me to have a more practical spa. That's one of many reasons why I chose to purchase from him. :)

I'm going to have to add privacy fence like that now. Too bad the ground is starting to freeze now. My backyard has been nice and dark for over 25 years, but now, my toothless, semibrainless hillbilly neighbor has decided to put his back porch light on a time and it is on as soon as it gets dark. I haven't seen him outside to ask him not to, and they don't answer their door, so I will have to wait to see him around. Since his backyard can only be seen from mine, it would be obvious that any action taken would have come from me. >:(
-
Nice pics Chad. I notice at least 3 seating areas with no jets, is that just the angle of the pictures?

Thanks RO,
The J-345 has four therepy seats, one in each corner. Yes the other 3 "seats" have no back jets. However one of my favorite seats is the one directly across from my filters. Those 2 jets in the footwell wall are unbelievable! They give a complete lower body massage. It's one of the main reasons I chose this particular model. They'll blow your legs clear out the spa if you're not careful. ;D

I love the new vinyl fencing...it looks so CLEAN...For our house, however, it looks too "new", so I'm still searching for the "perfect" solution for our tub....
That looks GREAT!

Thanks Tatooed Lady.
They also make that exact fence in bone(biscuit) color. I'll try to find a pic of it and see if it will work for you.
Actually it was my first color of choice but it cost about 20-30% more and has to be special delivered. I was on a budget and needed it done quick, so I opted for the white.
Check this color out. :o Yeah it's actually vinyl. :-? I didn't think so either. ;)

This is that biscuit, or bone, or clay, or beige, or tan color I was talking about.

Thanks for the kind words ZEP.
I enjoy the extra footwell space very much. Eventhough I haven't tested it's max capacity yet, it's nice to know that when I do I won't be playing footsies with my friends. ;)
-
so what is your favorit color ?????
-
Maybe he has a hot tub cam too?
Nobody wants to see that! Maybe I'll have to break down and buy a couple of posts from Home Depot and put up that fence.
Now, if those stray 9mm rounds from last month would have only hit that light.

Are you talking about the led lights or the fences?

Nice setup!
Do you live in a townhouse development with the houses that close? It looks like fairly new construction.

Hey Vinny it's nice to hear from you again.
Thanks for the kind words.
Yes they call them townhomes. There are two houses connected only by their garages. I call them 2-story villas. ;) When I think townhomes I think of many houses connected with no garage. Every house has it's own 2 car garage, driveway, and yard. It's basically a nomal house but your garages are connected. I'll post a pic so you can see what I'm talking about.
Developers started this community 4 years ago and it's still under contruction. There will be a total of 1,000 homes ranging from my 1300 sq ft "2-story villa" to 3,500 sq ft estates. This has been the fastest growing community in the St. Louis area for the past 4 years. We have 2 pools, clubhouse, walking trails, soccer feilds, baseball diamonds, stocked lakes, and even some atv trails that the HOA doesn't know about. There is also k- 12th grade schools in the development. The only thing we're missing is a Wal-Mart. ;D

I have to say that I LOVED living in a townhouse! It was like being on vacation all the time.
By me, I think they call your house a carriage home. Are you resposible for taking care of the surrounding property?
We moved into a 4 BR fully detached house 6 1/2 years ago and been working on it every since. We needed the space since we only had 2 BR and no garage or basement, it was also about 1300 SF.
The tax structure here would make building new schools an expensive proposition for tax payers. A township next to ours just built a high school and it cost $250 million to build and it's costing the homeowners there $1000 a year more at least.
As far as Walmart ... it'll find you!

Yes we are responsible for taking care or our properties. There is still however a HOA fee that is $310 a year that goes towards all the goodies in the subdivision.
